Voted Best of SWMO for the 2nd year in a row!

We've been blessed once again to be recognized as being the Best of SWMO...this time in 3 categories!

May 9th, 2025 - As I'm getting ready to tie my pointy toed shoes, I'm thinking about the fact that, for the 2nd year in a row, I'm getting ready to get in the car with my wife and make my way to a banquet to get recognized for the hard work and effort that myself, my wife, and my business partner, Charlie, have put in over the past 365 days to try to advance our business and take care of our customers the best way we know how. 

Sometimes as a small business owner, you wonder if your customers actually take note of the effort involved in doing what we do. Obviously we do this because we love it, and of course we love our customers. We want the people that we serve to feel as though the things we sell and the help that we provide are a good value, and that our dealings are more than just transactional. We love knowing the people that are coming through the door, and while it isn't always possible for us, we love it when we get to know people by name and start having more of a relationship than just "customer".  Sometimes we get lucky enough to find new friends, and for us, that is a really special thing.

When we get voted "Best of", though, it's a stern reminder that people are out there seeing us and standing behind us, and we think it's really cool to be blessed so richly by those who think enough of us to vote for us...especially considering we know that we're not the only option when it comes to what we do.

Last year we were voted "Best Outdoor Loving" store.

For 2025, however, not only were we voted "Best Outdoor Living", but we were also voted "Best Place To Buy A Gift" as well as "Best Catering" for our Vegan Recovery Center.

When I say it was a huge surprise to find this out, I really mean it. 

To us, this is a huge honor, and it also led to me getting chosen to become an Honored Listee from the Marquis Who's Who, which is a publication that celebrates the legacies of distinguished professionals and has been doing so since 1898. Pretty cool!

So with that, we just want to say "THANK YOU", because without you, none of what we strive for would be possible or even matter.

Once again, you've blessed us, and it just goes to show that even when you think perhaps what you're doing goes unnoticed, there are a lot of eyes watching and waiting for an opportunity to show you that they believe in you!
