By matching and balancing hydrocarbon refrigeration with the latest refrigeration components, TRUE engineers environmentally friendly refrigeration systems with shorter run times, lower energy consumption, and the industry’s coldest holding temperatures. TRUE has taken a large step in reducing its carbon footprint with the use of a hydrocarbon refrigerant, R290. R290 is an environmentally friendly refrigerant with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 0.02, compared to refrigerants of the past, R404a and R134a, whose GWPs are 3922 and 1430 respectively.
TRUE uses quality components to ensure a long life of refrigeration with minimal energy consumption. State-of-the-art components such as energy-efficient compressors and electrically commutated motors are used to exceed energy standards without sacrificing the workload. LED lights have been introduced in TRUE units to offer a brilliant display while saving energy and reducing heat within.
TRUE continues its commitment to sustainability with the use of foamed-in-place, CFC-free, polyurethane, high-density insulation that provides unparalleled strength and rigidity. In addition, an increase to an already industry-exceeding insulation factor, with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and zero global warming potential (GWP).
TRUE internally manufacture their own heavy-duty shelves utilizing larger diameter steel for strength with ½” spacing on top support bars for ease of use. The shelves are then bonded with powdered PVC to prevent chipping and peeling, which is prevalent in competitors’ standard epoxy-coated shelves.
Along with its 7-year labor warranty and 7-year parts warranty, TRUE’s exclusive 7-year compressor / condensing unit warranty is the envy of the industry. At no additional cost, our customers enjoy the option of having the entire condensing unit replaced. This consists of a new compressor, condenser, start components, and fan motor, all of which are pre-assembled and shipped from the factory.

In order to verify that all units are manufactured properly and to spec, TRUE runs tests on every single unit as part of the final quality inspection before releasing the unit into the finished goods inventory.
In its Missouri-based manufacturing facilities, TRUE builds for inventory to provide a near 100% fill rate on standard items. This allows for the most optimal turnaround when the purchase order is received and processed.
